It’s been 3 years since Our Bible App started to ask folks to chip in financially to keep our authors paid and the app running. In that time we’ve been able to offer premium content for a base price while also depending on outside donors to make up the difference. As it has happened for many other businesses, the cost of creating premium content continues to rise and in order to properly serve our community we have decided to raise our subscription price. The new monthly cost of $8.99 will allow us to make necessary upgrades to the app. We are fixing:
The chat area: It has been out of commission for a while and we believe that community is integral to our mission.
The Bibles: We want to make it easier to search for exactly the right text, and save your place for when you come back.
Profiles: We are making the profile section more robust, and it possible for you to make friends easier
New Website: Soon you will be able to log into content on your desktop as well as on your phone. This new site will feature premium sections for devotionals, news, and podcasts.
OBA News: This news section is our new endeavor and will allow us to talk about current events from a Progressive Christian perspective.
